I had been fit before, or so I thought. Six years ago I was preparing to run a marathon and was in better physical shape than I had ever been in my life. But an ankle and hip injury had hampered my running and I was interested in nothing else so I sat and waited for my injuries to heal themselves. I continued to eat like a runner and gained weight and became lethargic. I finally decided I needed to get back into going to the gym but I couldn’t seem to get motivated. I had attended a few yoga classes Allison was teaching and really enjoyed her encouragement, consideration for my injuries, and helpful advice on regaining my flexibility. While attending yoga I found out she is also a personal trainer and I started working out with Allison’s guidance twice a week. I have only “played” with lifting weights before, not really knowing what I was doing. In a matter of days I started feeling better and had more energy. I increased my sessions with Allison from 2 to 4 because I was having so much fun and wanted to learn more. I started seeing changes in my body and gaining a physical strength I have never known. Now I have muscles!!! Wow! Who knew those biceps were there? And there’s a distinct separation between my butt and my legs! Working out with Allison is fun! She seems to know exactly what you need and how to push you so you get the benefits you want. She is motivating and inspirational. Because of her, I have found my own passion for fitness and have decided to follow her footsteps and become a personal trainer! Thank you Allison!!!

I am a Technical Sergeant in the US Air Force and have served happily for 13 plus years. My career field works only with Army soldiers, and we call in air strikes for them as their air power experts. Needless to say, morning PT (Physical Training) 5 days a week has been my reality from day one in the military. My assignments have taken me from Light Infantry, to Special Forces, to Armored Cavalry, and most recently, working for an Armored Division at Ft. Bliss, TX. As all military people do, we move around a lot and when I moved to Germany in May of 2005, I found myself in the worst shape of my life. At 6’ tall, I was 215 pounds with 16% body fat, and not at all pleased with how I looked. For the next 2 and a half years, I worked out harder and finally left Germany this last October at a comfortable 205 lbs. I really worked hard and was, at the time, impressed with what I had accomplished with my fitness while stationed there. Upon arrival at Ft. Bliss, a co-worker ,and fellow client of Allison’s, introduced me to Allison and told me that she could help me with whatever fitness goals I might have. After talking with Allison on the phone, she set up a modified fitness routine for me, but more importantly, inspired me to curb my eating habits. Anyway, in the 3 months that I have been her client, I have dropped 16 pounds, 6% body fat, and I’m still banging away to drop even more healthy weight. In fact, my body has reacted so well to this new training and diet, that I have signed up to compete in two sprint triathlons before summer, and I am more motivated in my daily life as well. I have more energy during the day, and every Saturday, I run/hike up the mountain range in El Paso just for a change of pace. Thank you Allison for inspiring me to achieve these goals in my life and for showing me how a healthy body makes for a healthy life!
